Those Greeks, unknowingly, were the only cradle of Democracy in the entire world. Without their influence, its quite possible there would be no democratic Europe, USA, or any other place... And it was thanks to the triremes of Athens and hoplites of Sparta that Greece wasn't completely extinguished. Thank you Leonidas! You have no idea what you've saved!
